A Landmark on Pune’s Eastern Corridor

Spread across 1 million sq. ft., The Enthrall Mall is part of a massive mixed-use development housing corporate offices, retail, and hospitality on Pune’s eastern metropolitan corridor. With its bold architectural footprint, the project demanded a façade lighting solution as distinctive as its design.

The Challenge: Lighting a Hexagon

The mall’s unique hexagonal structure made conventional lighting layouts impossible. Fixtures had to sync precisely with the geometry to accentuate the form, not fight it. Like our high-rise projects, the installation faced extreme conditions — intense summer heat, monsoon rains, humidity, chemical fumes, and dust from surrounding development.

Custom Engineering for Complex Geometry

We developed specialized clips and fasteners that locked into the grooves between façade tiles on each column. This created a clean, non-invasive mounting system that followed the hexagonal lines perfectly. Every detail was coordinated with architects and lighting consultants prior to manufacturing. Powering the façade required a different approach. To overcome voltage drop across the expansive structure, drivers were strategically distributed on every 5th floor. Each hexagonal segment was powered independently yet designed for synchronized control — enabling single-switch operation for the entire façade.

Built for Endurance

Fixtures were manufactured in aluminium with a specialized chemical coating to resist corrosion, UV, and atmospheric pollutants. Each batch passed 4 rounds of lab testing under simulated environmental stress to ensure long-term performance.

The Outcome

Through meticulous planning, custom manufacturing, and precise execution, the façade lighting transformed The Enthral Mall into a glowing landmark. The lighting accentuates the hexagonal architecture, enhances brand visibility from afar, and adds significant aesthetic value to the development. The system continues to operate flawlessly with synchronized control and uniform output — a testament to engineering design that marries form with function.
