Modern corporate architecture demands a dual-purpose lighting strategy: it must support intense, focused daily tasks while serving as a physical extension of corporate identity. The engineering team was tasked with developing a system that achieves strict workplace visual comfort standards in the main desk bays while cleanly executing complex, custom-shaped backlighting in the public reception lobbies.

Engineering the Intersecting Linear Ceiling Matrix

To illuminate the expansive open-plan workstation floor, the installation moves away from traditional, uninspired square troffers. Starlight engineered a continuous system of recessed aluminum extrusion channels that run diagonally across the ceiling grid in a striking, intersecting layout. In the public reception and mezzanine lounges, the technical strategy transitions to expressive architectural accents. The executive mezzanine reception features a custom warm-amber backlit feature wall composed of intersecting geometric angles, adding depth and warmth to the wood-paneled space. Down in the main lobby, a monumental cross-shaped graphic mural showcasing company developments is framed with precision-recessed edge profiles, using specialized zero-hotspot diffusion sheets to guarantee an entirely smooth, high-end signature entrance.
