Exterior Contour And Atrium Lighting

A vibrant commercial mall installation showcasing high-impact architectural façade contours and a fluid interior atrium design. Continuous exterior linear bands define the sweeping multi-level structural curves, while custom-shaped wave profiles snake across the indoor ceiling matrix. The entire system is engineered to create an inviting, energetic retail destination with perfectly balanced visual comfort. The Pulse of Modern Retail Architecture In large-scale commercial retail spaces, lighting must act as a visual anchor that guides public foot traffic and establishes a landmark identity. The architectural intent for Nyati Plaza required a bold, high-visibility exterior presence coupled with an energetic interior layout. The challenge was to illuminate expansive public zones cleanly, emphasizing structural geometry without causing visual fatigue or distracting reflections on storefront glass. Sculpting the Curved Façade The exterior technical execution utilizes continuous, high-intensity horizontal linear tracks mounted flush against the sweeping concrete balconies of the West Entrance portal. These warm, uniform light bands wrap around the property's architectural curves, accentuating its multi-tier layout. This approach transforms the plaza into a prominent evening landmark on the Pune skyline while casting a functional, low-glare ambient wash over the wide entry stairways and public plazas. Fluid Motion in the Interior Atrium Inside the main atrium, the lighting transitions from rigid structural lines to organic, flowing art. Starlight designed and manufactured custom-curved, flexible linear profiles that snake dynamically across the geometric suspended ceiling matrix. These continuous loops of light follow a fluid wave pattern that injects energy into the shopping corridor, throwing uniform light downward to the lower floors while eliminating visible dots and hotspots entirely.
